Abies balsamea - sapin baumier

Conifère indigène au feuillage d’un beau vert-bleuté bien dense. Forme pyramidale. S'adapte aux sols pauvres et rocailleux. Peu tolérant aux sels, ne se plaît pas bien en milieu urbain trop chaud et sec. Croissance rapide. Taille: Aucune taille nécessaire. Pour densifier ou contrôler la croissance, une coupe peut être pratiquée sur le tiers des nouvelles pousses (chandelles) en juin. Excellent choix pour la culture du sapin de Noël!

Balsam Fir

Native conifer with beautiful, dense bluish-green foliage. Pyramidal shape. Adapts to poor and rocky soils. Not very tolerant of salts, does not like urban areas that are too hot and dry. Size: No size needed. To densify or control growth, a cut can be made on a third of the new shoots (candles) in June. Great choice for growing Christmas tree!
